Report: Real Madrid set €50m asking price as Milan and Inter battle for forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ready to battle with rivals Inter for the signing of Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic in the summer window, a report claims.

Marca have confirmed on Thursday that Real Madrid wantsto sell the player as both from a sporting and behavioural point of view he has not convinced at all.

Zinedine Zidane has often said that he has faith in him, now Los Blancos are ready to sell for €50million – a whole €10m less than they paid to sign him from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.

It is unlikely that a club decides to invest this sum, but Real Madrid are shooting high knowing that they will then have to lower their claims a bit when negotiating.

Milan were aiming for a loan, perhaps a two-year one, with an option to buy but now it seems the LaLiga giants want to sell outright. Meanwhile, Calciomercato.it are reporting that Inter are also in the race to sign the 22-year-old, who has scored just twice all season.

  1. I don’t think AC Milan wants Jovic. It’s just a stretch of the truth. Milan wouldn’t spend 50m on a seeming flop of a players, especially now that Ragnarick is joining Milan. We know how frugal the German coach is with investments. He has never made an investment for more than 25 million. AC Milan could only loan with option to buy for a about half the sum. Personally don’t I think Jovic is DA MILAN or suited for Ragnick who likes his attacking players to be quick and fast. Jovic is too slow.
