Report: Rubin Kazan star wants summer exit but refuses to comment on Milan links

By Isak Möller -

Milan have been linked with many players this summer and they have also made a good amount of signings, with more to come. Yesterday, a report broke claiming the Rossoneri are close to securing a new player.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is the player in question, just one step away from joining Milan from Rubin Kazan, as per Metaratings.ru. There haven’t been any confirmations from Italian media but some new updates have emerged.

According to the Georgian journalist Lasha Kokiashvili, Kvaratskhelia didn’t confirm nor deny the Milan rumours. The winger didn’t provide any new updates on the matter and has seemingly left it all to his agent, thus the coy response.

Having said that, he wants to leave Rubin Kazan this summer and it remains to be seen where he will end up. Should he join Milan, then one would have to assume that one of the current left-wingers in the squad will leave (maybe Hauge).

  1. Il genio says:

Kvaratskhelia entourage is in talks with representatives of many big European clubs (Milan included). However, given his transfer fee it is difficult to believe that Milan has the leading currently. If Italy, probably, Juventus will be the club to contract his services. Additionally, Dortmund, Leeds and other clubs are interested. If Maldini signs him, that will be an impressive achievement
