Report: Several offers for starlet amid Milan, Man Utd links; Barcelona only want loan

By Oliver Fisher -

Barcelona only wish to loan out defender Jean-Clair Todibo amid reports of an agreement with AC Milan, it is claimed.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) claimed on Monday that Milan and Barcelona have now reached an agreement regarding Todibo, with just personal terms to be ironed out with the player.

However, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo things are far from completed, as the Catalan club sees him as an important prospect who needs to play continuously.

They claims that Barca have already given their go-ahead to Todibo’s departure in January, but only on loan dry and not an outright or even a loan with option to buy. In addition, club officials would like him to move to a Europa League club.

Todibo has received several offers from Germany, Italy, England and France in recent weeks, the report adds but at the moment the most concrete tracks are those that lead to Milan and especially to Bayer Leverkusen – who may have the edge given their Europe League status.

The Frenchman is expected to take a few weeks before deciding what is best for his future.
