Negotiations are ongoing regarding Tiemoue Bakayoko’s potential return to AC Milan but the one certainty seems to be that it will happen.
The Rossoneri have reportedly been in talks with Chelsea for weeks to try and secure the return of Bakayoko, who impressed during his loan spell at San Siro in 2018-19.
Talks seemed to be put on the back burner as the management prioritised wrapping up deals for Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz, but now it seems things have intensified again.
According to Vito Angele on Twitter, Chelsea have already accepted the formula of the deal, which will be a loan with option to buy.
However, the negotiation is not yet complete because the two clubs are discussing the option to buy figure and the structure of the loan – that could be a paid loan – however Bakayoko’s future is now written and he is almost certain to become a Milan player once again.
