Report: Three things discussed in meeting between Boban and Giampaolo

By Oliver Fisher -

Marco Giampaolo met with Zvonomir Boban at Milanello on Wednesday to discuss three key points, a report claims.

Yesterday’s edition of il Corriere della Sera – as cited by Calciomercato.com – claimed that there is ‘tension’ surrounding the club heading into this weekend’s Derby della Madonnina against Inter.

The Rossoneri have won two of their opening three games to start the season but come up against a side that have won three out of three – but the game represents the first big test for both.

As per Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com) there was a meeting between Boban and Giampaolo at the club’s training ground on Wednesday.

The Croatian apparently touched three points in particular with the head coach: including the growth of his game and the role of Paquetá (midfielder or trequartista).

The third thing discussed – as per the report – was the inclusion of the new signings (or lack thereof), with Milan having spent over €90m on six players this summer and none of them starting at Verona.

The Milan hierarchy are waiting to see the answers from the coach on the field starting on Saturday, when the stakes are very high.
