Reports: Daniel Maldini on verge of sealing loan move to Serie A club – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Spezia are about to conclude an agreement that will see Daniel Maldini head out on loan, according to several reports.

MilanNews are reporting that talks between Milan and Spezia for Daniel Maldini are proceeding quickly and the negotiation is now at an advanced stage with the 20-year-old midfielder ready to move to Liguria on a season-long dry loan, therefore with no option or obligation to buy.

Calciomercato.com claim that Spezia boss Luca Gotti’s approval and the contacts over the last few days have produced a turning point and the two sides are now at work on the final contours of the deal, linked mostly to the formula.

The Rossoneri would like a dry loan while Spezia would prefer the inclusion of an option to buy, perhaps with a buy-back in favour of the Diavolo. Either way, Maldini is heading to try a new adventure.

Luca Biachin of Gazzetta dello Sport adds that Maldini did not train with the rest of the squad today as either today or tomorrow he will be announced as a new Spezia player on a season-long loan.
