Reports: Inter ready to seal €40m deal for Milan target Tonali as player accepts move

By Oliver Fisher -

Inter are accelerating their attempts to sign Sandro Tonali from Brescia and have a formula ready to try and convince them, a report claims.

Tonali has been linked to a number of different clubs over the past few months as he is expected to take the next step in his young career and move to a bigger club than his current side Brescia.

Milan have been linked with a move for the teenager by a number of different sources, though recent reports have suggested that the Rossoneri have fallen behind in the race to sign the boyhood Milan fan.

According to il Corriere di Brescia however (via TMW), Tonali’s future will be in black and blue. The contractual agreement between the midfielder and Inter has been found, and a meeting between the clubs to close the deal is also expected in the next few days.

Calciomercato.it are also reporting that Tonali has chosen Inter because of the guarantees head coach Antonio Conte has put forward, having already had direct contact with the former Juventus boss.

The CEO of Inter wants to close the deal on the basis of a loan plus obligation to buy in June 2021 set at €40m.
