Reports: Milan and Inter involved in five-team race to land Lille winger Ikone

AC Milan are in a five-team race to land Lille winger Jonathan Ikone, according to a report, with clubs across Europe keen on landing him.

It has been well documented by several sources that Milan are in the market for a new right winger as Samu Castillejo is likely to leave the club this summer meaning a replacement will be needed, with several targets mentioned such as Domenico Berardi and Papu Gomez.

According to Calciomercato.com, Ikone – who was one of the stars of Lille’s Ligue 1 win – is coveted on the market as Inter, Milan and Borussia Dortmund have been interested for some time.

However, the same report cites AS in adding that LaLiga duo Real Betis and Valencia are also chasing the French international, who racked up 9 goals involvements in the league last season with 4 goals and 5 assists.
