Reports: Milan beat Everton to ‘aggressive and fast’ Chelsea talent – details of the €22m deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have won the race to land Fikayo Tomori of Chelsea with a deal expected to be completed in the next 48 hours, reports claim.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) goes with the headline: “Tomori aggressive and fast. Ancelotti wanted him, Milan convinced him.”

The young Chelsea defender – who is about to move to the Rossoneri on loan with an option to buy – has chosen an interesting project, and has even picked Milan over Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton, who tried to sign him in recent months.

The Englishman could arrive tonight and Milan are pressing to have him available against Atalanta, but it’s complicated.

According to il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), Milan are one step away from Tomori having reached an agreement with the Premier League squad over a paid loan with an option to buy set at €22-23m.

In other news, Milan’s pursuit of a Barcelona man has complicated further as Napoli and others have joined the race.
