AC Milan have secured the renewal of a promising young midfielder with a loan spell imminent, while they will make a nice windfall from a resale clause in another deal.
According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio on his live mercato blog, Milan 19-year-old midfielder Antonio Gala has signed a new three-year deal this afternoon with the Rossoneri.
However, he will not be staying at the club and instead will leave on loan with a decision due either today or tomorrow about where he will go for 2023-24.
Meanwhile, Palermo have confirmed the arrival of Sebastiano Desplanches on a permanent basis from LR Vicenza and he has signed a contract until 30 June 2028.
He has joined the City Football Group after they bought Palermo, and journalist Matteo Occhiuto reports that the transfer fee will be €2m while Milan included a 40% resale clause when they sold him to Vicenza.
That means that they will net around €800k from Desplanches’ move to Palermo, if true.
