Reports: Milan rapidly closing in on deal for talented midfielder – three-year contract agreed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are hoping to wrap up the signing of talented young midfielder Warren Bondo in the coming days, according to reports.

Calciomercato.com are reporting that the Rossoneri management want to secure one of the best young players in French football and are looking for an agreement with AS Nancy-Lorraine after striking a deal over personal terms.

The positive scouting reports convinced Massara and Maldini to start a negotiation and Milan want to close for €700k, having agreed personal terms over a three-year deal with the player but since he is under the age of 18, he cannot sign a longer deal.

Nancy for their part are holding out for €2m but the gap could easily be bridged with bonuses. The will of all parties is to conclude the deal, because the Ligue 2 club have promised the player that he will get his big move.

MilanNews confirms that Milan and Bondo have agreed a three-year deal, which can be extended to five years when the French midfielder turns 18. The final agreement with Nancy is also very close at a figure close to €1m plus bonuses to reach the €2m total.
