AC Milan appear to be closing in on yet another January signing as Fikayo Tomori is on the verge of arriving from Chelsea, reports claim.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), an agreement between Milan and Chelsea is expected in the next 24-48 hours on the basis of a loan with option to buy. Chelsea want that figure fixing at €30m.
Il Corriere della Sera meanwhile claim that Maldini and Massara are pushing hard for Tomori’s loan. The deal could close very soon – within a couple of days – and the player’s approval is already there. An agreement with Chelsea on the price of the buy-out must still be found, as €30m is too high for Milan.
As reported in today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the option to buy figure is being discussed. Chelsea want €30million, the Rossoneri would rather it be €20m, so the talks are ongoing.
According to what we have learned from Pietro Balzano Prota, it is a done deal. As soon as the player gets the final ok, he will leave for Milan. The formula is the one that has been talked about in recent days: loan with option to buy at €25-30m.
