Reports: Milan to welcome back two players for Roma clash – latest on Musacchio

AC Milan are set to welcome back two players from injury for the game against Roma at San Siro on June 28, according to a report.

Multiple outlets including MilanLive are claiming that the Rossoneri will be able to call upon striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the clash against the Giallorossi, but not for the game on the 22nd against Lecce.

The Swede underwent a scan on his injured calf on Tuesday where it was established that his recovery is going well, and the 38-year-old is in a hurry to return to the field and aims for the Roma game.

Optimism is also filtering regarding Léo Duarte. The Brazilian defender is also heading for a full recovery after suffering a thigh problem – that coming after his Achilles issue which kept him out for over three months. Duarte should also be back for the Roma game.

Mateo Musacchio’s recovery times are still unclear even though he appears to be over the ankle problem he suffered prior to the trip to face Juventus, but his return is not expected to be imminent.
