By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have their eye on two players currently plying their trade in Belgium after the signing of Alexis Saelemaekers, reports claim.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Milan are interested in Charles De Ketelaere who is the ‘best emerging talent in Belgian football’ from 2020. The 20-year-old has six goals contributions in 31 league games this season and is known for his versatility as well as his imposing presence, given that he stands at 6ft4.

His contract expires in 2023 and according to Transfermarkt he is valued at €16m, but there is the strong interest of Atalanta to compete with, who at this moment are in pole position having made a strong push.

Meanwhile, PianetaMilan – while covering Milan’s interest in De Ketelaere – report that the Rossoneri also have a keen interest in Anderlecht midfielder Yari Verschaeren. He is gaining a reputation as one of the rising stars of football in his country as the 19-year-old has already registered 4 goals and 3 assists in 14 games in the Jupiler Pro League this year.
