Reports: Monaco may have edge over Milan and Chelsea in pursuit of €60m Real Madrid flop

By Oliver Fisher -

Another team have joined the running to land Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic in the summer window, according to a report.

As MilanLive notes, Jovic is the man that a number of different sources have claimed is at the top of Milan’s wish list to strengthen the attack. The 22-year-old has disappointed at Real Madrid and is preparing to leave the Spanish capital.

Milan for their part have apparently been looking at the prospect of reuniting him with Ante Rebic after the pair were so deadly at Eintracht Frankfurt, however competition is fierce as Napoli, Leicester, Chelsea and Arsenal have all also been credited with interest.

According to SportBild (via FootMercato), agent Fali Ramadani has allegedly offered Jovic to Monaco, where Niko Kovac has just been announced as the new head coach, the man who coached the Serbia international in Frankfurt.

Given that Real Madrid paid €60m for Jovic last summer though, it is unlikely to be a cheap deal.
