Reports: Probable Milan XI to face Sassuolo – Three doubts but unchanged XI most likely

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is set to make no changes to his starting XI for the game against Sassuolo compared to the line-up that beat Bologna.

There were five different scorers on Saturday night as the Rossoneri triumphed 5-1 at San Siro, but the trip to the Mapei Stadium on Tuesday night looks like a tough one against an in-form side playing great football under Roberto De Zerbi.

According to MilanNews, Pioli has not yet cleared the latest reservations about the eleven that will take the field against the Neroverdi.

In addition to the doubt regarding Ibrahimovic (the Swede trained in the gym yesterday and not with the team), there is a battle going on between Calabria and Conti for the right-back spot with the former Primavera man leading the way currently.

Gianluca Di Marzio confirms what MilanNews report, adding that the only other debate is whether Giacomo Bonaventura may get the nod over Saelemaekers, but it is more likely to be an unchanged team.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Ibrahimovic.
