Repubblica: Fiorentina ready to go back in for Milan midfielder – €30m price tag set

By Oliver Fisher -

Fiorentina could once again try their luck in signing AC Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta in the upcoming transfer window, a report claims.

La Viola were linked with a move for the Brazilian towards the end of the January window, with sporting director Daniele Prade even admitting that his club were offered the chance to sign Paqueta on loan, something they were ultimately not interested in.

Paqueta has not had the easiest time in the last few months with the Rossoneri, as he has seen his playing time decrease more and more, leading to suggestions Milan will try and move him on for the right fee.

According to the latest from La Repubblica (via Calciomercato.com), Fiorentina are studying a fresh assault to try and land Paqueta having already held talks in the most recent window. There are alternatives such as Udinese’s Rodrigo De Paul – also linked with Milan – and Ruslan Malinovskyi of Atalanta.

The report adds that for Elliott Management and CEO Ivan Gazidis the Brazilian is not unsellable, however their evaluation is around €30million.
