Centre-back Nikola Milenkovic faces an uncertain future at Fiorentina and AC Milan could be a possible destination for him, a report claims.
The Rossoneri have been persistently linked with a number of different defenders by various media outlets, but Fiorentina’s Milenkovic is the man that Milan have been credited with the strongest interest in.
Head coach Stefano Pioli knows him well having coached him when he was with La Viola, and the player’s age (22) and knowledge of the league make him an ideal candidate.
According to Saturday’s edition of La Repubblica (via MilanNews), the Serbia international is undoubtedly one of the players that Milan are following with interest to strengthen their squad.
The future of the 22-year-old is far from certain, considering the fact his contract is set to expire in 2022 and he has so far shown no willingness to renew.
The paper adds that his agent Fali Ramadani is probing the various possibilities in terms of future destinations, and Milan could be one of them.
