AC Milan are set to lose quite an important figure behind the scenes as Casper Stylsvig is heading for Chelsea, according to a report.
Ever since Elliott Management took control of the club in 2018 they have been focused on asserting the Rossoneri as a global power in terms of brand appeal through the creation of new partnerships and consolidation of sponsorships.
This has continued even with the change in ownership to RedBird Capital, and Stylsvig has been at the heart of that in his role as the Chief Revenue Officer.
However, today’s edition of Repubblica (via MilanNews) are reporting that Gerry Cardinale attended the match against Torino at San Siro last night which was ‘on the eve of the possible announcement of the head of the commercial sector Casper Stylsvig going to Chelsea’.
Now, Cardinale will obviously begin work finding a replacement for Stylsvig, who has been praised for his work in helping revenues grow by around 30% from the last financial year to the current.
