This morning, AC Milan released the new home shirt for the 2025/26 season, and a report has looked at the figures attached to it.
To buy the new Milan shirt, you will need to spend at least €100, with other options taking the price up. For example, an ‘authentic’ jersey will cost €150. This is just one way in which the club brings in money via the shirt.
So, Calciomercato.com have looked deeper at the situation. The manufacturers of the shirt, PUMA, signed a five-year deal in 2022, worth €30 million per season. Whilst the main shirt sponsor is Fly Emirates, which is a deal worth, again, €30m per season.
On the sleeve, the MSC Crociere logo can be seen, which brings in €5m per season, whilst BitPanda, on the back of the shirt, also brings in €5m.
In total, from sponsorships alone, that is €70m per season.
Then, we have the sales themselves, which in the 2023/24 season totalled €32.8m, which is a fantastic start. However, this only netted the Rossoneri €13.5m due to production costs. It is worth noting that this season’s (2024/25) figures are expected to be ‘boosted’.
The Diavolo shirt is the one that generates the most in Serie A, totalling €102.8m per season, a figure which Inter stand almost €40m away from.
