Rivalite: Milan in advanced negotiations for Ligue 1 youngster

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are now in advanced negotiations to sign Algerian youngster Badredine Bouanani from Nice this summer, a report claims.

According to a report in the Algerian press from Rivalite (via Milan News), the Rossoneri have been extremely impressed by the 18-year-old right winger who has got French heritage.

Despite his tender age, he has played 17 times in Ligue 1 this season for Nice and has picked up four assists in the progress, showing what he could bring to Milan.

It seems that Milan are not the only team that are trying to sign Bouanani, with the youngster reportedly in talks with a number of English clubs.

Bouanani is actually a product of the Lille youth academy but he signed for Nice on a free transfer in the Summer of 2022. Whilst it is not clear what sort of fee it would take for Milan to get Bouanani, Nice are certainly in for a profit.

  1. He’s a RW at just 18 with more goal contributions than Saeledona.

Also as a note, Kamada got another assist today

    1. Kamada probably won’t happen. Pioli will insist on paying 25m for little Diaz who will then continue his lawn mowing exploits with us.

  2. Why not go for Retegui, some players are unpredictable but seem to be good. Let’s stop trial and error,we don’t have big money please Maldini.

  3. Maldini should stop this drama what if they place Milan in Group of death in the champions league how will they cope is better Milan spend money in solid players instead of trial and error we have somebody like chukwueze for right somebody like moussa Diaby this what I hate about Acmilan they don’t like spending yet they want to compare their self to mancity or realmadrid is a shame to Acmilan the management must get it right before it’s too late.

      1. In addition to only being a rumor, he’s only 2.5m according to Transfermarkt, so it could very well be a purchase for the future rather than the immediate solution at RW. This guy probably didn’t even consider that.

        1. they had Lewandowski valued at 16 something million on that site when we sold Ibra and Thiago. He just finished scoring 18 goals in Bundesliga I believe. No way Dortmund would let him go for that price. Take their valuations with a fraction of a grain of salt.

          1. 30 goals in 2011 2012 for Lewandowski, TM had him valued at 20 million euros June 30th that year..in his early 20s ..so I stand corrected by myself, their valuations are even worse than my memory serves me..He was a goal machine in his first season in Dortmund..no club would sell a 30 goal scorer, 23 in Bundesliga for 20 million, not back then not today either.

          2. Is that what Badredine Bouanani is? A 30 goal scorer in the Bundesliga? Lets compare apples to apples, not some 17 year old to one of the top scorers of all time. Also note that I said “ACCORDING TO”, not “IS”, so I’m recognizing there is room for interpretation. Finally, “[n]o way Dortmund would let him go for that price.” – Correct, they didn’t let him go for that price, they let him go for FREE 😜.
