Mediaset: Pioli should welcome central defender and forward back for Fiorentina trip

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is getting close to having an empty treatment room and a full squad to choose from with two more players due back soon.

The Rossoneri welcomed Ante Rebic and Alessandro Florenzi back into the fold for the derby draw against Inter and Brahim Diaz made his return to the starting XI in what was a huge boost to the attacking department, with players like Rafael Leao and Alexis Saelemaekers asked to work overtime recently.

SportMediaset (via MilanNews) writes that Alessio Romagnoli, who missed the derby due to an adductor inflammation, should be ready to play again after the international break when Milan make the trip to face Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Not only that, but there is likely to be another boost to the attacking depth as playmaker Junior Messias is also expected to return for the clash against La Viola, having made just one appearance since his deadline day move from Crotone.
