Alessio Romagnoli was not happy with the fact that AC Milan did not get given a penalty for a coming together between Davide Calabria and Alex Sandro during the 0-0 draw against Juventus.
There was an early half shout for a penalty when Calabria latched onto a ball inside the Juve box and went down under a challenge from Alex Sandro and he seemed to have a real shout for a spot kick, but it wasn’t given and VAR was not consulted either.
Romagnoli was approach by a DAZN journalist at half-time but before the interview he clearly asked: “Was it a penalty?” referring to the shout from Calabria. Somebody there answered his question, to which he replied: “Same as the one in the derby.”

To be fair, also Messias foul on Morata was a penalty…
Agreed. Overall poor refereeing. We werent given one and Juve also were given one. Both were clear penalties. Surprised VAR also didnt say anything
