Romano: Bundesliga side making moves to land Milan-linked Stuttgart star

By Oliver Fisher -

If AC Milan want to win the race to sign Serhou Guirassy then they better move quickly because Borussia Dortmund are pushing to land him, a report claims.

A meeting at the club headquarters between technical director Geoffrey Moncada and the Stuttgart management – led by Thomas Henning who is Head of Recruitment for the German club – took place on Wednesday, as we wrote about.

The highlight of the discussion was Guirassy, a striker who scored 30 goals in 30 games this season, with a tempting release clause. The centre-forward was courted by Milan also during the most recent January mercato but they were unable to get a deal over the line, yet the interest remains.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Dortmund are now pushing to advance in talks to sign Guirassy for next season. BVB are ‘insisting’ because there are several clubs keen on triggering his release clause at Stuttgart, which is currently set at around €17.5-18m.

The Guinea international one of the priority targets for Dortmund as they look to bolster their attack and capitalise on the fact that they have been on a memorable run in the Champions League, where they will meet Real Madrid in the final.

  2. Just to add – Fonseca thinks the squad competitive and won’t ask for anything than a RB 😂😂😂 at the other front Juve have signed Motta – Di Gregorio , Calafiori and Zirkzee are all said to be close to done by the Italian media.
