Romano: Chelsea ‘open’ to exit and Ziyech is ‘happy to join Milan’ this summer

The negotiations between AC Milan and Chelsea over the loan transfer of Hakim Ziyech are seemingly proceeding well. The Rossoneri are very keen on the winger important updates have arrived.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tomas Tuchel has told the Chelsea directors that he doesn’t mind Ziyech leaving the club this summer. Furthermore, the reporter added that the player himself ‘is happy to join Milan’ and talks have been going on for two weeks.

The parties still need to agree on the formula, which was expected seeing as Milan want it to be a loan with an option to buy. The compromise might be an obligation to buy, thus guaranteeing Chelsea money from the exit.

It remains to be seen what the outcome of the situation will be but it’s clear that Milan’s interest in the player is concrete. It makes a lot of sense as Stefano Pioli wants a player that can play in the centre and also to the right in the attacking trio.

  1. 2 week are too long for negotiate. Just close it fast and move to another target like CDK or other player for AMF . Return brahim back to real madrid if successful get CDK but if AC Milan dont want to pay brugge 30m euro cash + bonus for CDK then just keep brahim for one season and let him compete with adili for starting spot
