AC Milan are looking to recruit a quality forward this summer and they have three options on their wish list, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Romano spoke in an editorial for CaughtOffside during which he remarked that Marco Asensio’s situation is ‘still open’ and Milan have his name on their wish list ‘for months’ alongside Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech and Club Brugge’s Charles De Ketelaere.
Real Madrid’s demand for Asensio is still ‘considered excessive’ by the Rossoneri management and that is why there is nothing more advanced at the moment between the parties involved, but there seems to be no rush.
His agent Jorge Mendes will ‘try to find a solution this summer’ but they know that he could leave as a free agent in summer 2023, which is why there is no hurry to resolve his future early in the summer mercato.
Real Madrid are ‘open to negotiations for Asensio’ however they have made it clear it will be ‘on their terms’.
Right now, it seems none of these deals will happen, unless some clarity is reached concerning M/M.
Let the deal happen rather than speculative remarks. Milan will always sit there aloof for the big money spenders like Manchester City, PSG, Liverpool etc to seize this big opportunity to snatch such high profile players from our hands.
Advice to those players:
Get yourselves a better club, Milan is highly unserious, they simply not ready to be the giants again.
