The dust is settling after the close of the summer transfer window, and some details have begun to emerge on the last-minute operations.
On the final day of the transfer window, Divock Origi left Milan to join Nottingham Forest. The deal was in fact completed just before midnight, when the transfer window had already closed for Italy but was still open in England.
Origi left Milan after one disappointing year in which he failed to really justify his high salary, struggling to stay consistently fit and scoring just two goals in the league meaning he was no longer a part of Stefano Pioli’s plans.
Fabrizio Romano has provided updates on the figures and details of Origi’s transfer from Milan to Nottingham Forest. It is a season-long loan deal that includes a €4.5m option to buy, and not an obligation to buy.
Not only that, but he confirms the Premier League side will pay 100% of Origi’s €4m net salary for the 2023-24 season, thus giving Milan a saving on that front too.
Good luck origi . Play well there and score more than 10 goal to make nott forest activate buy option for you
4,5M€? That’s like 45 times he is actually worth.
