Romano: Double medical booked in as €30m Chelsea man and striker close in on Milan move

By Oliver Fisher -

A double update on AC Milan’s mercato has arrived from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano concerning two potential signings.

According to what he is reporting on Twitter, Fikayo Tomori is set to join Milan from Chelsea. The agreement is expected to be completed next week on the basis of a loan deal with option to buy (and not an obligation) for around €30m.

Tomori will fly to Milano in the next few days to undergo his medical checks before signing his contract and becoming the latest new addition to head coach Stefano Pioli’s squad.

Meanwhile, he adds that Mario Mandzukic to Milan is a ‘here we go!’. The Croatian centre-forward will undergo his medical tomorrow in Milan, with an agreement reached and a contract set to be signed after the medicals.

Mandzukic is a free agent and has turned down bids from Turkish clubs weeks ago. He will arrive in Italy in the next few hours ahead of his latest adventure.

  1. I feel like Maldini is trolling EPL clubs with those option to buy clauses at 30M. No wait Dalot or this Tomori is worth 30M.

    1. We need to have faith in Paolo, the same things where told when he signed Theo and look at Theo now, the best left back in serie A and one fo the best in Europe
