Romano: Hauge one step away from completing move to Germany – the amount Milan will get

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will soon complete the sale of winger Jens Petter Hauge to Eintracht Frankfurt after a new bid arrived, according to a report.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Eintracht Frankfurt just made a new official bid to Milan for Hauge, and the deal is now set to be done. The Bundesliga club have put €12m on the table after having an opening bid turned down one month ago.

The final details are to be discussed as per the journalist, but the negotiations are at the final stages and soon things could be made official. Meanwhile, the latest from gianlucadimarzio.com (via MilanNews) also confirms that Hauge is one step away from being sold to Germany.

He will move to Eintracht Frankfurt, earning the Rossoneri about €12m after they paid a few million Euros to sign him from Bodo/Glimt in Norway last season. Hauge’s Milan adventure, therefore, will end after nine months.

  1. Awful choice. He has so much potential and even financially will be worth so much more a year from now. Run away from this now cancerous place Hauge and good luck, we are owned by vultures, Milan class and character have died.

      1. Hahahaha you know nothing. Guaranteed you fit the Inter mindset far more than me. So you should blindly support a club even when their practices are no longer reminiscent of the club they’ve been their whole existence. Keep blindly following weak sheep boy. I want better from this once historic club. I want to be back to our glory not more trash like this.

    1. Simmer down bud, this is good business. Remember the Milan of old didn’t adapt to FFP and look what happened. This is how successful clubs operate. Chelsea makes moves like this all the time. Hauge was never going to develop as a third choice. If you remember when Milan bought him it was with the intention of making a profit. That’s probably why Pioli gave more time to Leao. Would you rather have Hauge or a CL level AM?

  2. It’s a shame to see a promising young player go, but this is an example of the sort of business Milan should be doing regularly – it’s how to make money in the FFP era, buy talented players when available and sell them on for more money with clauses.

It seems that since Hauge this strategy has been abandoned again though.

    1. So what if he is promising player in the future. There’s 3 player already in the left side. He doesnt want.to.try other side like attacking midfielder or right winger. In left side there already 3 player. Thats too much. And Hauge really need to sell.

      1. Why cant pioli also try using the three others on the right too ..why does he like playing on castillijo and saelamak in one way right only ..leo can right rebic can play right wings so what they heck are you saying .. as Daniel Maldini show any sign of helping the team like hauges does ?

      2. one thing is Hauge can play LW AMC and RW, as both his leg is good. not only tested, but proven too

we are selling one of few people that can beat Kessie in dribble in real games, and the reason we selling him is because we dont know how to use him. He tends to play wing poaching (beating defend through passes/long ball), which doesnt work since we are playing High Left-Back (Theo). if u put him on right the problem solved, since key passes comes from left, and main receive stays on right side. but somehow castilejjo and krunic still play on subs. thats why fans are very unhappy for this decision. it shows how unflexible the team is

  3. Terrible Pioli never gave him a chance…have a feeling this will be similar to Paquetta, Andre Silva, Locatelli, etc…so fkn may we gave up on too soon….what happened to all that $ we saved from no resigning Donnaruma? Lol. What a joke. We will be lucky to finish 6th unfortunately

  4. Third choice player in his position. Nice profit for Milan. He will not develop like he needs to at Milan. Not sure what everyone is whining about.

  5. Nice, then we can focus to another AMF or RW. Thanks Hauge for your best performance, you still have much talent to explore,,

  6. Waiting for the final contract details before I comment, there could be a buy back or something else in future for Milan

  7. honestly Hauge is one of the most interesting milan player for others club to buy…..

it is so sad that milan is already overjoyed seeing the little profit that can be made from sale of hauge…..

it seems milan could not see the next big things…..

yeah that is our milan’s reality now…
