The renewal of goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is AC Milan’s priority at the moment and talks will begin soon, it is claimed.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest for Calciomercato.com, Elliott Management Corporation are ready to insist with agent Mino Raiola and try to reach an agreement over an extension on his current deal, which expires in 2021.
After the Lecce game, Paolo Maldini personally communicated to Donnarumma that he had scheduled a meeting with Raiola shortly so that he could discuss his contract – a direct and transparent communication that Gigio liked, and the player has always pushed to stay.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain have followed Donnarumma for years and would consider an offer. For this summer no concrete and strong signal has arrived, and PSG would only move to try and sign him on a pre-contract, but Milan have no intentions of losing their prized young asset for free.
Renewal or sale are the only two options: that’s why no negotiations are taking off between the PSG and Donnarumma.
