Romano: Medical booked and documents being exchanged as Milan seal €20m deal

AC Milan will soon welcome their eighth signing of the summer transfer window as they are exchanging documents with Valencia over Yunus Musah, a report claims.

Milan have been among the busiest clubs in Europe in terms of incomings having welcomed Marco Sportiello, Luka Romero, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, signing number eight is close as Milan and Valencia are signing all the documents for the Musah deal, which has been done since Sunday and is set to be official soon.

Musah will undergo his medical tests this week in Italy after a €20m package deal was agreed between the Rossoneri management and their LaLiga counterparts.

Musah will join Reijnders and Loftus-Cheek as the new members of a midfield that needed rebuilding after the sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United for a club record fee.

  1. Giancarlo, he’s not capable. he’s a really weak midfielder. I don’t understand the signing. His stats are atrocious. If they believe in his potential, fine. But we don’t need back ups. We have Pobega and Krunic. We need starters. Players we can trust. Dominguez and Hjulmand have very strong stats and are cheaper. They are more suited to what we require too. Musah is basically a poor mans RLC. And RLC isn’t anything special either. Go look up Musah’s stats. His defensive stats are worse than Pobega – who is a box to box and a liability as a DM. I’m usually very positive but it’s hard to be, with the business we’ve done. Ultimately, we’ve improved the attack a lot, and created an even more unbalanced midfield. Our midfield was exposed last year. I dread this. And we haven’t really addressed CB either. Tomori can’t be trusted. With his overvalued price in the market, just sell him and replace with Schuurs.
