Romano: Milan and Juventus interested in teenage Benfica talent

There could be another top talent making his way out of Benfica in the summer as Cher Ndour is being monitored by multiple clubs including AC Milan.

Benfica have in recent years showcased an ability to continuously churn out talents from their youth sector, both by enhancing players purchased for a small amount or bringing through their own products.

According to what is being reported by Fabrizio Romano, Ndour is one to watch in the next few weeks as his contract is expiring in June and there is interest from multiple clubs, with Milan and also Juventus monitoring him. The 18-year-old midfielder will make a decision about his future soon.

Ndour began his football training at the youth academy of ASD San Giacomo and then moved to Brescia before joining the youth academy of their rivals Atalanta at the age of 9.

It was back in July 2020 that he moved to Benfica, making his professional debut with Benfica B and his first appearance for Benfica’s senior team on 18 March this year in a 5-1 home victory over Vitória SC.
