AC Milan are feeling confident about the renewal of Gianluigi Donnarumma despite the fact that two of Europe’s top clubs are interested.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who in his latest for Calciomercato.com acknowledges that that situation is starting to become delicate, considering that from 1 January one of the best goalkeepers in the world could sign with another club ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Despite this, the Milan management are confident that Donnarumma will stay, because he wants to. Real Madrid have always studied the Italy international closely, while Paris Saint-Germain continue to dream of him.
Nonetheless, Romano adds that Donnarumma has chosen to renew the agreement. These are the clubs that are informed, to which Chelsea must be added but they signed Edouard Mendy from Rennes who is doing very well, and Milan are hoping for a happy ending.
The Rossoneri management want to get closer to the finish line and must find an agreement with Donnarumma and Raiola in a short time.
