Romano: Milan convinced Hauge is the perfect coup – Haaland’s role not to be underestimated

AC Milan are convinced that they have made a huge coup with the signing of Jens Petter Hauge, according to a report.

Fabrizio Romano’s latest for Calciomercato.com highlights how the Norwegian sensation has somehow managed to conquer the entire fan base already, after an operation which took place in the summer window and cost less than €5m.

It will take time for him to adapt fully and reach his true potential, but Romano adds that the sensations are of a perfect deal that Milan will try to repeat in the future.

The Rossoneri management is convinced that this purchase could pave the way for low cost operations for interesting talents that the market sometimes offers by surprise.

The role of Erling Haaland – a great friend of Hauge and his compatriot – should not be underestimated.

Speaking to Sky Italia yesterday, the Dortmund striker said: “For me he [Hauge] is really strong, he is a real talent as well as a friend of mine. He plays in a nice club like Milan, in an excellent league.”

Romano mentions in his report that Haaland also keeps an eye on Italy and responded enthusiastically when Hauge told him about his upcoming move to the Rossoneri. Today the value of Jens has more than tripled, and step by step he will continue to grow, just how he likes it.
