AC Milan are not currently a likely landing spot for Borussia Dortmund forward Giovanni Reyna, according to a report.
It was a report from Spain earlier in the week that suggested Milan are lining up a January move for Reyna, who could push for a fresh start elsewhere having struggling with persistent injuries at Dortmund.

However, according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano (via Goal), the 20-year-old’s next destination is more likely to be a club in the Premier League rather than linking back up with Christian Pulisic in Serie A.
“At the moment, I don’t have any confirmation. I asked about that. But I am not sure Milan are going for that kind of creative player in that position in the January transfer window. Also I’m not sure this is what Gio Reyna needs,” Romano said.
“Maybe something in England. You know I think that would be perfect for him. Something like Brentford or Brighton, something like that where managers play offensive football, quality football and he’s absolutely perfect.”
Reyna has had a knee injury since June which has prevented him from making a single appearance this season for Dortmund but he is expected to return soon and could even feature against Milan next week in the Champions League.
So Romano indirectly said we don’t play quality football, haha.

The two American players we have right now are impressive. This one, we can leave it out. Mediocre.

As an avid follower of the young Americans, Reyna is the most talented of the bunch.
That said, I don’t want him here. We have a history of causing player injuries. He’s a player who is often injured. Makes for a bad pairing.
Second, Pioli wouldn’t know how to use his talent. That kids dribbling, vision, technical and tactical ability are fun to watch!

1. Always trying to downgrade italian football. They forgot italian football is schoole on teaching techanilty. Same, if not higher than brasilian school
2- claiming italian clubs takes injury prone players. Ie law quality and fighting that even if it’s true due to economics. These players succeed!.
I’m not trying to discredit Italian clubs.
I didn’t say Italian teams. I was solely focused on Milan. We have a major history of players being injured.
Our physio department and/or workout regiment needs a huge overhaul.
As for Reyna’s skill, Pioli would waste his talent. There are other Italian teams and coaches that he’d excel with. Just not here.
what about that ricardo pepi. Where does he rank?
Pepi would be like a younger and more raw version of Okafor. Similar characteristics.
Pepi needs to bulk up to fight off the big centerbacks, needs to improve his finishing skills. Has lots of potential, and has the inner drive to get better. Was told to stay in MLS for a few more years, but pushed hard to got to Europe while still only 18 (unlike his fellow striker at Dallas, Jesus Feirrerra, who seems destined to become an MLS Lifer). PSV will be a good place for him to develop further for at least a couple more years.
Pepi is a box striker and a good arial presence but not as solid in buildup. I think he’s more Giroud than Okafor. IMO Okafor is more well rounded and able to play out wide.
I LOVE Reyna and his game but he’s a no go for me unless they do all 3…change their formation for an AM, get him for a low fee/salary due to injury history, upgrade their sports medicine dept and understand you prob won’t have Gio for a good chunk of matches. If you got all 3 of those then sure.

Skip. We need striker ( pure CF that can play 433 or 4231 as lone striker) . Even if we buy this Reyna , he will come as bench warmer and thats not good for his career too

The English Premier League is actually far worse for the amount of physical thuggery that doesn’t get called by the referees.
I’ve actually been impressed by the quality of the Serie A referees, who call fouls on a lot more of the physical contact than the refs in the EPL, and also hand out yellow cards a lot more.
It’s been a major reason that Pulisic has been doing pretty good at Milan – in the Premier League, the other teams had figured out that they could stop him by just kicking him in the legs, because the EPL refs NEVER called a foul when that happened to Pulisic. It was just infuriating to see him get kicked constantly and lose the ball, and then the refs would just ignore it.
I think the Musah foul got ignored because the ball had been passed on, Milan were making an offensive move, and even if the ref saw what happened, it was correct for the ref to play the advantage for Milan.
F**k off beach. AC Milan has been successful with Brazilians (Robi, Ronaldinho,kaka, Pato, Ronaldo, Dida etc . This is because Brazil is the heart of football. This American owner wants to drive the funds to his home ground players.moneyball oriented.
