Noah Okafor is back on the radar of AC Milan, who are probing the ground for a transfer this summer. Ever since the Rossoneri faced RB Salzburg, the forward has been linked with them and there’s a reason for that.
In the first leg between the two sides in the 2022/23 Champions League group stage, Okafor scored the opening goal after a lovely solo run. Alexis Saelemaekers scored the equaliser and the game ended 1-1, but the Swiss international had already made his mark.
Milan have been linked with the 23-year-old for quite some time but up until last night, it had been very quiet on that front. As per Fabrizio Romano, the Rossoneri are probing the ground with Salzburg to understand the conditions of a potential deal.
In fact, Pioli has pushed for the player ever since that game in the Champions League. The only concern, perhaps, is that he’s not a ‘classic striker’ after playing in a front two at Salzburg. The likes of Juventus and Lazio are also interested in him.
One of the best moves Milan could make but unfortunately they’ll find excuses to leave the negotiation of good players for mediocre just like they did with Samuel Chuckueze
My opinion is that Okafor isn’t the right profil of striker Milan need, but time will tell.
I’m confident our new players this summer is better than last season.
I’d be very keen on this move. If we aren’t going to sign an out and out striker like Scamacca or Icardi. He could cover Leao and be a solid replacement for him to rest and also an understudy for Giroud.

Good question…a lot depends on sales….if we could shift Origi and Rebic perhaps to Saudi then it’s on…
I can’t help but see RLC as a waste. A player in his peak years who’s achieved nothing and never managed to break into Chelsea while other midfielders have come and gone. I fear he’s the midfield Origi.
