AC Milan are expected to present a verbal offer to Porto for Mehdi Taremi but they will not meet their asking price initially, according to a report.
There is growing speculation suggesting that Milan have concretely reignited their attempts to sign Taremi having pursued him a few weeks back, and there are also more and more suggestions the player is pushing for the move.
According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Milan will present a verbal offer for Taremi but they have ‘no plans to match the asking price’ which is in excess of €25m.
Nonetheless, Milan want to try until the end to sign the 31-year-old Iran international. Taremi for his part already gave the green light to Milan weeks ago and he is keen on the move, so now it is up to Porto and how much resistance they put up.
Porto play against Rio Ave in the league tonight and it is expected that Taremi will start, but there have been reports of a potential meeting between Milan and the Portuguese club after the game.
Honestly I think he’ll suit this new Milan’s system well. If we fail, we can try again on the winter where Porto couldn’t hold that excessive price request anymore.
Sure, colomboo will also go to monza in january, if they don’t mind 😀
Well, I doubt Lorenzo will go if this deal fails tho. There’s a reason why there’s still nothing official yet.
Keep Colombo, sell kalulu and the others, bring in Mazzochi and Ricci, job done
