Romano: PSG made two offers for Donnarumma including €65m contract – their current stance

Paris Saint-German are still interested in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma having readied a huge contract for him before, a report claims.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest for Calciomercato.com, Donnarumma’s name is still circulating in the French capital and will continue to do so.

The Milan leadership will try not to lose their prized young asset and will attempt to find the right solution, and while there are those who swear that PSG will try and sign Gigio on a free transfer, from Milan filters a completely different line.

They have given priority to the renewal of the 21-year-old, focusing on the player’s desire to stay, otherwise he will be sold this summer to make cash and avoid losing him for nothing.

In the last summer window, PSG put on the table an exchange deal of Alphonse Areola plus €20million for Donnarumma, something which was rejected quickly.

Back in June 2017, Sheikh Al Khelaifi gave the go-ahead to offer the Italy international €13million net per year for five seasons plus rich bonuses, limousines for travel to Paris and even an availability of villas for Gigio and family.

Donnarumma chose to renew his agreement at Milan until 2021, and in the last few months PSG sporting director Leonardo has not made any proposals to the Rossoneri because the Ligue 1 club wants to understand the cost of the operation and the budget they have available.

PSG are among the clubs that always stay up to date with agent Mino Raiola, Romano concludes, but the final decision will be made by Donnarumma.
