Romano: Milan’s hopes dashed as Real Madrid prepare ‘long term deal’ for Brahim Díaz

By Oliver Fisher -

Real Madrid are ready to offer Brahim Diaz a new contract to extend his stay at the club which could precede welcoming him back into the fold, it is claimed.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid will discuss a new long term deal with Brahim Díaz and they will make an offer to extend the deadline until 2027, with current contract at the club expiring in the summer of 2025.

Meanwhile, the journalist also confirmed that Marco Asensio will leave Real Madrid as free agent in a decision that was made last week. He set to resolve the final details of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain in the next days.

That means that Real Madrid are likely to look for a replacement and Brahim can fill the role of both right winger and attacking midfield. Romano mentions that Kai Havertz is on the list as a potential target but there has still been no direct contact with Chelsea.

  1. Let’s hope it comes true. Best of luck to Diaz…we need a more consistent player. We need players that will show up and get us the points against the low table teams

  2. Real will ruin his career! I really hope that i am wrong about it but they are doing it to a lot of youngsters just to sell them for higher
