Romano: Striker’s move to Roma means Milan and Man Utd target will not leave Real Madrid

By Oliver Fisher -

Luka Jovic will not be leaving Real Madrid before the end of the window as another forward will instead be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu, it is claimed.

There are sources that believe Milan will see what opportunities are available late in the window to give Pioli some help in the forward department, with Luka Jovic arriving on loan a possibility not to be excluded.

Tuesday’s edition of the newspaper AS (via ManagingMadrid) reported how Zidane has made the decision to let Jovic leave on loan, with offers from Milan, AS Roma and Inter, while the Daily Mirror reported that Manchester United are also in the race to sign the 22-year-old Serbia international.

According to Fabrizio Romano however, Borja Mayoral’s move to Roma rules out any chance of Jovic leaving the Spanish capital before the window ends.

Instead, he will stay and be the deputy to Karim Benzema. Romano adds that there was nothing advanced with any club regarding Jovic, he was just offered around, and he mentions Manchester United in the tweet.
