Romano: What Milan have told Milenkovic regarding possible move – the latest on Inter

By Oliver Fisher -

Fiorentina are determined to play hard ball over the future of their prized young defender Nikola Milenkovic, a report claims.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest for Calciomercato.com, Fiorentina have raised a high wall for Milenkovic regarding his price tag and at the moment no club has come close to meeting it.

However, if Inter were to sell Milan Skriniar, Milenkovic is the first choice target for head coach Antonio Conte. If Skriniar – who is in talks with Spurs – is sold then the Nerazzurri could make their move for the Serbian.

Regarding Milan’s interest, contacts are frequent and active with his agent Fali Ramadani, while a negotiation with Fiorentina has not yet started because of the €40m asking price.

The sale of Skriniar to date is a possibility, but far from a certainty. For this reason, there are still no official offers from Inter. Of course, the Nerazzurri would be ready and the player was informed.

Milan, on the other hand, have made it known that they will not pay €40million, they appreciate the player a lot but would take only sign him on their terms, i.e. at lower figures.

It is no coincidence that in the list of Maldini and Massara today there are also other possibilities at lower costs. Milenkovic likes Milan and Inter, he waits and hopes while respecting Fiorentina.
