RR: Milan could soon launch bid for €35m-rated Eintracht Frankfurt forward

By Oliver Fisher -

The latest idea for AC Milan in their pursuit of a reinforcement for the right side is Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jesper Lindström, according to a report.

According to a report from Radio Rossonera, Lindström is a name that Milan have on their list for the attacking department and he could be the investment made for the right side that has been talked about over the past few weeks.

Negotiations over Samuel Chukwueze with Villarreal are on hold because the LaLiga side want €30-35m for a player with less than a year on his deal, while Arnaut Danjuma could come but is more of a left winger or a striker.

Gustav Isaksen and Johan Bakayoko are on the list but Lindström is a name that is gaining momentum and Milan could make an offer for the 23-year-old after a season in which he amassed 9 goals and 4 assists in 38 games.

He is a profile deemed perfect for covering an area of the pitch where the Rossoneri intend to strengthen themselves because he can play wide on the right and as a No.10, so could be an upgrade on Brahim Diaz.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s request is €35m but Milan wouldn’t mind negotiating over such a high figure for a player who is a year younger, though Newcastle United are also apparently interested.

The Taastrup native grew up in the academy of Brøndby IF and moved to Eintracht Frankfurt for €7m, playing 74 matches in two seasons and scoring 14 goals, winning the Europa League in 2021-22.

Last season, he scored Eintracht’s first goal in the Champions League 62 years after their last qualification and he is now an established Denmark international too.

    1. I thought this guy played as a RW, but no… he’s a LW. I mean it would be cool if we could sign him, as we would have a serious attack, but we need a RW more if anything.

One name I thought of was Donyell Malen, but that’s a name that won’t come cheap at all. Probably 40 million.

      1. Yes, but the “analysis” of this player says he is a player that Milan want for RW. It couldn’t be more made up. I don’t understand why would someone make up something that stupid. 😀

  1. Should sign Donyell Malen. Probably won’t come cheap though. He’s of Surinamese descent, and that reminds me of someone famous.
