RR: Spurs could launch ‘definitive offer’ for Poland star amid reports of €27m Chelsea bid

By Oliver Fisher -

Spurs could reportedly soon launch a definitive offer for AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek as their search for Harry Kane’s replacement continues.

We reported earlier on Sunday via our mercato correspondent Vito Angele that Piatek is pushing to play having lost his spot in the starting XI for the time being, and he is happy to accept a move away if the right opportunity arises.

Sky Italia’s Luca Marchetti (via MilanNews.it) reported that Spurs have reopened talks for Piatek with new contacts having been held between the clubs.

Rumours that Tottenham are still interested were mentioned by transfer source Louis Girardi, and he made the shock revelation on Sunday afternoon that Milan have already received a €27m bid from Chelsea.

According to the latest from Radio Rossonera’s Pietro Balzano Prota, Milan are indeed in talks with Spurs over a potential deal for Piatek.

He adds that the north London side could soon launch a ‘definitive offer’ as Jose Mourinho’s desperation grows to source cover for the injured Harry Kane.
