AC Milan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are heading towards continuing their relationship together for another season, according to a report.
SportMediaset (via MilanLive) are reporting that next week there should be a meeting between Milan and Ibrahimovic to talk about a renewal, and the player has already accepted the fact that th figures will be reduced compared to his 2021-22 deal, which is inevitable given that the Swede will only be able to return to play in 2023.
There is talk of a salary of €1.5-2m as the fixed part plus bonuses related to appearances and targets such as goals, and it would be a simple one-year extension. It shows that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara still value Ibra as a resource and believe he is able to contribute to the team.
It is worth remembering that the 40-year-old struggled with knee problems throughout the second half of last season and was forced to undergo surgery, but he wants to come back.
