Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has seemingly invited AC Milan to make a move for their midfielder Dennis Praet.
The Rossoneri were strongly linked with a move for Praet earlier in the window as Marco Giampaolo looked to bring some familiar names with him to San Siro from the Marassi.

Those links went quiet, but earlier in the week a report emerged claiming that Milan have essentially tied up a deal for the Belgian.
Now, Ferrero has fuelled speculation by claiming that Praet ‘ough to join Milan’ this summer.
The Blucerchiati President spoke told Sportitalia: “If the fast lane is correct, and it isn’t always in football, then Praet ought to join Milan.
“Giampaolo was in love with him, a real world class talent who had an extraordinary performance against Juventus.
“Last season, Giampaolo begged me not to sell Praet and I made him happy. He’s a great coach and I think he’ll do well, even if he might need some time to settle in at Milan.”
