AC Milan and Inter’s goal to build the new San Siro will be aided by the local education institutes, a report has revealed.
It is all starting to get a bit real now. With each passing day, it seems more likely that Milan will actually collaborate with Inter to build a new San Siro, despite years of back and forth over their own futures. Whilst it is certainly not a done deal, things are going well.

Reports in recent months have stated that the clubs wish to find an agreement by the summer, with the Municipality giving the football clubs ‘priority’ over other opportunities, something which certainly bodes well.
Today, further positive news has emerged, with Calcio e Finanza reporting that the council will seek assistance from the Milan Polytechnic and Luigi Bocconi University, which are both prestigious universities.
Both are, as the report states, ‘main players’ in the plans for the construction of the new stadium, with a collaboration being signed recently.
It appears their roles will go further than just the stadium, though. In fact, the duo will also work on the areas surrounding the stadium for the ‘urban and territorial regeneration’ of the surrounding areas, which is a must.
