Ahead of AC Milan vs. Juventus, the club’s President Paolo Scaroni has admitted he is always confident about the Rossoneri.
It could be argued that this weekend’s fixture is the most important home fixture so far. A game that could see Milan fire themselves back into the Scudetto picture, or fall into mediocrity.
Ultimately, it is a game which almost has to be won. However, there is added pressure this time round.
A loss creates a further three-point gap between the two sides, adding to the current six-point difference.
Winning the game, though, halves the difference, which is big in itself, without the fact that the Diavolo have a game in hand.
For this reason, the Rossoneri must be aiming for a win, and it seems Paulo Fonseca is looking to attack the game – naming Samuel Chukwueze is now expected.
Ahead of the game, Scaroni was seen outside the Lega Serie A headquarters, and Milan Press asked if he was confident…
“Confident? I always am.”
Sounds rather hollow to me because wasn’t it Maldini who in an interview said that he often quickly left the matches before they ended when we was about to lose said matches. Doesn’t really sound like always being confident to me.
