Hakan Calhanoglu has performed a U-turn on his hard ball stance and looks set to accept AC Milan’s offer to renew his contract, a report claims.
Calhanoglu’s contract will expire at the end of the month and he’s yet to make a decision on the renewal offer Milan have proposed. However, it seemed that a departure is likely for the Turkish international.
MilanNews reported that the future of the No.10 is very uncertain and above all, could be far away from Milan. The latter presented an offer worth €4m per year several months ago, but it was deemed unsatisfactory. In recent days though, the player and the agent re-started talks with the club.
According to the latest from Nicolo Schira on Twitter, Calhanoglu and his agent Gordon Stipic are set to accept Milan’s offer on the table in order to extend his contract. Schira adds that the deal will be €4million net per year plus bonuses.
