Rade Krunic has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce in the last week and while the first offer presented to AC Milan was deemed too low, the Turkish side refuses to give up. According to a report, a new offer is on the way.
Krunic was an important player for Milan last season, used in multiple positions by Stefano Pioli but mainly in the midfield tandem. He has also been the starting defensive midfielder in the 4-3-3 formation this summer.
As a result, the Rossoneri have made it clear that they want €15-18m for Krunic, according to Nico Schira. Fenerbahce’s first offer was deemed too low by Milan but the Turkish side are now ready to table an offer worth around €10m.
It remains to be seen if Milan will budge from their initial demand. Gazzetta Dello Sport reported this morning that Nicolas Dominguez could replace the Bosnian, while Relevo claims Marten de Roon is also on the wish list.

I don’t understand, last 2 seasons fans were begging for him to be sold.
Now some fans here talking as if he’s irreplaceable.
Every move this management take is a wrong move for these fans, even though krunic himself wants to go for bigger salary.
Mind you, krunic wasn’t originally a defensive midfielder.
Heck he plays everywhere in midfield and even as a winger in some occasions.

Sure the last half of last season he showed some good performances, but in the end, he’s never been a starter material.
If by selling him we can sign a true defensive midfielders like dominguez then I’m all up for it.
Krunic is a good bench and utility player, but for someone like Dominguez it’s a pretty obvious upgrade and Dominguez also has the league experience people demand.
I don’t get it either why people would want him to stay. He’s at his maximum value now.
Once upon a time Krunic was playing crap and we didn’t give a fu*k about him but last season he came good even classy if you ask me, so nobody is in a hurry to see him go. If the price is right and the replacement better, why not ?

I´m baffled that so many dont see his qualities. His defensive positioning is vital to support the team, and he always plays to his advantages (unlike some). For me, he is a 50m worth player, minimum. Selling him would be a huge mistake, in my opinion.
He’s a fine player but he’s got a bad tendency to give the ball up right in front of goal. His defensive positioning is ok but I’ve seen him beaten many times. He’s a 10-15 M player no 50 😂

Like nelli said, he has a tendency to give the ball away in front of our defense which often lead to goal or chances by opponent.
And once i again i say, krunic wasn’t originally a defensive midfielder, he was forced to play there because milan squad lack of depth last season.

He can’t string a couple of passes together, back passes often, and his defensive contributions while good are not out of this world.

50!?! You’re drunk or this is Stefano Pioli, he can’t thread a pass or play one-touch football and has no physical presence.
Krunic should only be sold if we are actually going to replace him with a true DM. Objectively he is also at his max value and will likely be sold for much less next year if we don’t sell now. So, as long as we adequately replace him, then this is good.

I don’t think it’s a wise decision because we will have all new players on midfield. Besides, Krunic is a good player as a DM right now. He was not good as AML/AMC in past seasons.
10M for a 31 yr old Krunic is solid. Take it. Can’t expect much more. Other problem is there is NO OTHER TEAM bidding for him – so Fener is bidding against themselves and instead could take that 10M and pivot towards Dominguez (would have liked Hjulmund but he’s gone to Sporting) has way more upside and is an overall better player than Krunic. Think smart. Take the $ and invest in a better and younger replacement player.

They are crazy if they decline this offer. This man is highly overrated and not good enough for our team. We can get a player that is younger and more usefully if we put a bit more money forward. We need to do that asap so the midfield can get minutes together.
People say we need him to transition from last year’s team as if he was Pirlo, Ambrosini, Seedorf or Gattuso. He is embodying mediocrity that our team accepted. We could have won games had we kept any of our midfielders we let go and sold him to make up for the increase in their wages.
He needs to be gone.

You can sell him for 10m euro or below that but you cannot find his replacement with that small money . Even dominques cost 15-17m euro
