Schira: Fiorentina to offer striker deal with €60-70m clause amid Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could be dealt a blow in their pursuit of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic as a bumper renewal offer is reportedly ready.

According to Nicolo Schira, Fiorentina are preparing a new bid for Vlahovic to extend his contract until 2025. President Rocco Commisso will offer a salary of €3million net per season and is also ready to insert a release clause of €60/70m which would become active in summer 2022.

However, Schira adds that so far they have not reached any agreement, and no doubt as the number of interested clubs rises the temptation to make the jump to a big team will grow. Vlahovic has 21 league goals this season having netted a brace for La Viola last night during their 2-0 win over Lazio.

It is a proactive move from Fiorentina, especially given that il Corriere dello Sport (via Calcioemercato.com) recently reported that Milan, Roma, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City all want Vlahovic.
